This June, Finca Chocolat had the honor of representing Belize at the Taiwan International Food Show—one of the region’s largest and most dynamic food industry events. We were proud to be one of just five Belizean companies sponsored to attend, and the experience was nothing short of inspiring.

With nearly 50,000 attendees, the show was a vibrant hub of innovation, quality products, and global buyers. It provided us with the opportunity not only to showcase our cacao but also to reconnect with our existing client in Taiwan. We had productive conversations about their upcoming expansion plans, reinforcing the long-term partnerships we’re building across Asia.

The event also reaffirmed our commitment to a business-to-business (B2B) model. We met with more potential clients than we can realistically supply in the near term—an exciting challenge that reflects the growing international interest in our cacao. Demand remains strong, and prices are holding steady at a premium—both for raw cacao and for value-added derivatives such as nibs, butter, powder, and mass.

Opportunities like this validate the direction we’re headed. As we continue to grow, our focus remains clear: producing high-quality, sustainably grown cacao and derivatives for a global market, while staying true to our roots in southern Belize.
