A New Addition to the Finca Chocolat Fleet
At Finca Chocolat, efficient logistics are critical to keeping things moving—from cacao harvests and equipment maintenance to sourcing essential inputs like rice hulls, sawdust, and organic fertilizers. So when the opportunity arose to acquire a well-maintained Ford F-450, we didn’t hesitate.
This heavy-duty truck is a serious upgrade from our reliable but modest 4-cylinder diesel workhorse, which often struggled with heavier loads. The F-450 is built to haul—and that’s exactly what we need.
Whether it’s transporting freshly harvested cacao, relocating machinery, or hauling bulky farm materials, this new addition gives us greater flexibility and control over our operations. Instead of relying on third-party transport schedules or rental availability, we can now handle more of our logistics in-house.
In a country like Belize, where transportation delays are all too common, this shift toward greater self-reliance is a major win. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about ensuring our team can stay on schedule and focused on what matters most: growing high-quality cacao and running a regenerative farm that delivers long-term value.
Sometimes the most important improvements aren’t flashy—they’re just powerful, practical, and built to last.
