If the idea of a legacy investment that is good for the environment, the local community and your finances appeals to you we would love to have a chat! When we purchased Finca Chocolat in 2015 we knew there was excellent potential to do well financially and have a positive impact in southern Belize. What we did not realize at the time was the full extent of that potential. To realize that potential more quickly than we can do on our own we are seeking investors who share our vision and goals.
Finca Chocolat has zero debt, proven products, and enough cacao trees currently in the ground that at maturity we will be profitable.
We could wait and let our original thesis play itself out but we are looking to do more and do so more quickly than we can alone.
In 2023 we partnered with David Kafka of Caribbean Capital Group and registered a 506(c) Private Placement Offering with the U.S. SEC to allow like-minded investors to buy units in Finca Chocolat.
Units are currently priced at $20,000 U.S. with a projected annualized return of 12-14%.

You can be part of a financially and socially meaningful endeavor.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

What to do with my cacao sample?
limitless Cacao Samples
The easiest way to use your sample is slowly roast the cacao in a pan over medium heat. When it starts to smell like chocolate brownies you are done. If it starts to smoke you are a bit past done!
Once done, discard the husk. You can do this by hand once it cools a bit. Just twist it in your fingers and the husk should come off if it is roasted properly.
From there, you can eat the bean as is, break it into nibs to top ice cream, yogurt, granola, etc., or add butter and sugar to the pan and caramelize the nibs (if you have kids helping this one is a winner) just to name a few uses. If you want to go down the rabbit hole, do a search on “roasting cacao” but be forewarned – it can be a deep hole!
